Cookie von Barntrup is an adorable 6-to-7 month old Shepherd mix. Beautiful and still a bit shy, this young pup is adjusting well to life at the rescue and growing more comfortable every day. Her leash manners have improved greatly, and on her walks she is a happy girl who enjoys meeting other dogs. Still a bit shy with new people, she likes to be petted and then she'll wag her tail and move in closer to you. In playgroups, her happiness grows stronger still and she meets everyone with a waving tail. She likes roaming around the yard and will come up to her humans for some friendly interaction. She is available with her sister Brownie, otherwise she would appreciate a home with another nice pup. Cookie is still blossoming; she just needs a gentle hand to help her along the way.
